Having worked as mechanical engineer for many years, I founded my own company in 1981. We built gear wheels, precision mechanics, and designed complete gear units.
In addition, I am an instrument enthusiast and hobby guitar player.
Starting point and inspiration for the development of my tuners were the old Baker and Landstorfer tuners, which are ornamental beauties on any guitar.
In cooperation with renowned guitar builders like Stefan Zander (Kiel) and Matthias Damman (Neuhaus-Passau), I designed concert guitar tuners which combine traditional elegance with precise function and modern technology.
